So it rained this morning. I woke up to the sounds of thunder like rumblings. What could be making those sounds? It was like a lot of Men grumbling at the same time 😂. Maybe my ears were decieving me. Is that the rain or what??? I couldn’t believe it until I heard the gentle drizzling of the rain. YAY!!! It was rain. And so Early in the year? This is a good sign that this year is going to bring so many blessings. Rain for so many people have different meaning and significance. I love Rain.
Rain means blessings. Have you heard the song ” Showers of Blessings”? The Rains are showers of Blessings no matter how we look at it. I remember growing up as a child, I was always very happy when it rains because we kids were only too glad to help in fetching the rain water to fill up our drums and water reservoirs and that gave us the opportunity to bathe under the rain. We will bathe under the rain for hours until an adult drove us out of the rain with a Stern warning never to go back under the rain. Later that night, the shivering and the chattering of teeth begins😃. Someone has caught a cold. Yet that did not deter us from bathing under the rain another time.
This rain is a relief here because it cools off the heat. The Rain starting this early also means that food will be abundant. The Rain is a blessing in so many ways. Rain means Refreshment. When it rains, the Earth is Refreshed and when that happens, the Earth is Empowered. When something is Empowered simply means, that thing has been given the legal right to do something. So the coming of the Rains Empowers the Earth to make the soil fertile so that when we plant our crops, they will thrive which offcourse will lead to a bountiful harvest. What more can anyone ask for?
