Wake Up Time

Ring Ring Ringggggg…I wake up to the startling sound of the alarm clock, Startled and alarmed myself. Is that really the sound of the alarm๐Ÿ˜ž? Seriously, I could have sworn it’s not been long I slept off or could it be a mistake? I stretch my hand lazily to pick up the noisy Alarm Clock hoping against all odds that it was a mistake but No, the time was clearly written. No mistake at all. It was 5:45am. Whatever!!! let me just take a little Nap. I guess that wouldn’t hurt at all. So I make myself very cozy by sneaking behind the sheets again. I close my eyes and make a solemn promise to just make it a very short nap, say 15minutes. That’s just when everything went very wrong. I woke up again Startled, this time without the alarm. A quick peek at the clock confirmed my fears. It was 7:45am. My Son was almost late for School and I was also running late for work. What was I thinking? Taking a little nap after the alarm rang. Phew!!! Does this happen to anyone else? Does my Alarm Clock story ring a bell to anyone???๐Ÿ˜‚

The Alarm Clock is invaluable.

Well, after two or three Episodes of running behind my schedule because of ignoring my faithful Alarm clock, I came up with a plan. Can you guess what that plan was?? You might have guessed right. Keep the Alarm clock very far from you so that you have to take a little walk to shut the Alarm off. That did the Magic for me. No more running behind schedules now. Do you have any tricks of your own when it comes to waking up early? Please share. I love to hear.

    1. Thanks for your comment Rose. It’s very simple my dear. You know it’s always very easy to just stretch out your hands and put off the alarm but that is where the danger lies. You might go back to sleep but if you have to take a walk to shut the alarm, I promise you, the sleep will wear off even before you get to the alarm.

  1. Yes ,I understand you. My only concern is that since you are physical challenged person it may not be easy to get up to off the noisy alarm. Only trying to let you know that for me since am in the same shoe with you I think it’s preferable to be close to me.

    1. Thanks for commenting. That’s the aim of keeping the alarm away from me. As a challenged person,, the inconvenience is more like an early morning exercise for me but it’s always good to do what is convenient for you
